Designed for general laboratory heating applications
Low-profile design conserves space and fits easily into most fume hoods. The front panel features easy-to-use controls that allow users to dial-in adjustments. Spill-resistant housing channels fluids away from the internal components. On the rear of the unit is a built-in support rod holder with locking knob. Microprocessor control regulates heat and brings samples to desired temperature quickly and accurately. Easy-to-read LED display shows set point temperature and provides repeatable and accurate results. For additional safety, a warning light is illuminated when heat is turned on. The warning light remains on until the top plate cools down. The overshoot protection function will automatically shut the unit down if the set temperature is exceeded by 10°C, or if the stirrer motor stops or fails. Built-in memory allows users to recall the last set temperature even after the unit has been turned off. A powerful, continuous-duty motor and magnet deliver dependable and reliable stirring for a long service life. Durable aluminum top plates provide a more even heating surface and will not crack or chip. UL and C-UL listed. CE marked.
