Low-profile design conserves space and fits easily into most fume hoods. The front panel features easy-to-use controls that allow users to dial-in adjustments. Spill-resistant housing channels fluids away from the internal components. On the rear of the unit is a built-in support rod holder with locking knob.
The maximum temperature limiting feature ensures that the unit will never exceed the programmed limit, allowing for control of sensitive flash points. To protect the probe, the unit will automatically shut off the heater if the probe becomes disengaged from the sample. The overshoot protection function will automatically shut the unit down if the set temperature is exceeded by 10°C, or if the stirrer motor stops or fails. For additional safety, a warning light is illuminated when heat is turned on. The warning light remains on until the top plate cools down. In the timed mode of operation, an audible alarm will sound when the time reaches zero or when the unit reaches the set point temperature. Microprocessor control regulates heat and brings samples to desired temperature quickly and accurately. Built-in memory allows users to recall the last set temperature even after the unit has been turned off. Easy-to-read LED display shows set point, actual temperatures, and time. Timer can be set from 1 minute to 100 hours. The timer will display the elapsed time or the user-defined time limit, and will shut off unit when time reaches zero. Ramping feature slowly increases speed to avoid splashing, improve magnetic coupling, and provide excellent low-end control. Powerful continuous duty motor delivers dependable and reliable stirring. Durable aluminum top plates provide a more even heating surface and will not crack or chip. Units include a NIST certificate are individually four-point calibrated against National Institute of Standards and Technology Traceable equipment. The certificate outlines the traceability, tests, and results. The calibration laboratory is NVLAP accredited to the ISO/IEC 17025 standard. UL and C-UL listed. CE marked.
