Product Description
- Radiant warm wall heating system provides optimal uniformity and conserves chamber space for drying, curing, vacuum embedding, and plating applications
- 3" (7.6 cm) glass wool insulation prevents heat loss from working chamber
- Silicone door gasket and positive latch door maintain seal at all vacuum levels
- Exclusive polycarbonate safety shield protects door glass
- Vacuum fittings require .25" (0.6 cm) I.D. tubing
- 3618P and 3618P-1 have 0.25 compression fittings on the left side and require 0.25 O.D. copper or stainless steel tubing
- Easy-to-clean #304 stainless steel chamber interior
- Vacuum and air lines constructed with corrosion-resistant stainlesssteel tubing for optimum chamber cleanliness and long term performance

Operation
- Operating temperature range from ambient +5°C to 220°C (428°F)
- Vacuum level displayed on gauges from 0 to 30" Hg
- Type 3606, 3608 and 3618 Vacuum Ovens feature a hydraulic thermostat to control temperature to ±1.5°C with a uniformity of ±5°C (at 100°C; 25" Hg) and built-in over temperature protection
- Type 3618P Vacuum Ovens feature programmable microprocessor-based P.I.D. temperature control that regulates to within ±0.2°C with a uniformity of ± 2.4°C (at 100°C; 25" Hg)
- The programmable microprocessor-based temperature control on Type 3618P Vacuum Ovens run at a single set point or utilize a 24-step program of ramps and dwells. These vacuum ovens feature independent vacuum and purge needle valves
- Models 3606 and 3606-1 have top-mounted independent evacuation and venting vacuum fittings; all other models feature front-mounted three-way valve for evacuation, venting, and purging of inert gases (e.g. Nitrogen or Argon) with vacuum fittings on front of unit

|
Optimal vacuum oven with wide temperature range for various test applications
Ideal for general drying, curing, conditioning, desiccating, annealing, moisture testing, vacuum embedding, out-gassing solids and liquids, plating, aging tests and electronic process control. Designed to operate with reduced pressures and/or inert atmospheres thus equipped with separate vacuum and gas ports, each with its own 3-way valve. Microprocessor PIDA controller offers accurate temperature and reproducibility.
A touch-sensitive membrane keypad with digital display allows the user to set the temperature easily. Double-wall construction and fully insulated chamber maximize energy whilst keeping the exterior cool. Silicon gasket and positive push button latch ensure a tight seal at vacuum levels. The heat-tempered full view window permits continuous monitoring inside. Anodized aluminium heat conductors transmit heat to two removable shelves. A temperature sensor on the aluminum shelves indicate an exact sample temperature. Over temperature limit prevents over heating. The optional safety cover consists of polycarbonate shield and perforated cover can be fitted on the door easily.

Constructional Features
- Separately equipped vacuum and vent ports the narrow vent line to control vacuum rate and inert atmospheres slowly / the wider vacuum line to produce a vacuum quickly

- Block type heaters heat the chamber evenly and good transmission by anodized aluminum plate shelve
- Heat-tempered full view window permits continuous monitoring
