Product Description
- Integral temperature display eliminates the need for remote thermometer providing the flexibility required for use in fume hoods, on lab jacks or the lab bench
- Flexible remote temperature probe included with each unit provides the versatility needed for any application
- Adjust temperature in increments of 2°C up to 150°C and 5°C over 150°C
- Hot Top Warning protects from accidental burns. Bright red warning light signals when heating surface is above 50°C. Unit display flashes "HOT - OFF" when heating is turned off until surface is below 50°C
- Six non-sliding feet to provide increased stability on the bench top and the lab jack
- Accepts any Type K thermocouple probe for added flexibility
- Available with Stainless Steel or Aluminum surfaces

Operation

- RS232 port enables you to output time count, temperature setpoint, top surface/remote probe temperature to a printer or computer
- All models supplied with 6" type K probe, detachable cord and retention bracket that prevents cord from becoming accidentally removed

The overshoot protection function will automatically shut the unit down if the set temperature is exceeded by 10°C, or if the stirrer motor stops or fails. For additional safety, a warning light is illuminated when heat is turned on. The warning light remains on until the top plate cools down. In the timed mode of operation, an audible alarm will sound when the time reaches zero or when the unit reaches the set point temperature. Microprocessor control regulates heat and brings samples to desired temperature quickly and accurately. Built-in memory allows users to recall the last set temperature even after the unit has been turned off. Easy-to-read LED display shows set point, actual temperatures, and time. Timer can be set from 1 minute to 100 hours. The timer will display the elapsed time or the user-defined time limit, and will shut off unit when time reaches zero. Choose from models with a ceramic or aluminum top plate. Ceramic top plates feature an easy-to-clean, chemical-resistant, reflective white surface. Durable aluminum top plates provide a more even heating surface and will not crack or chip. Units that include a NIST certificate are individually four-point calibrated against National Institute of Standards and Technology Traceable equipment.
